Jazz Improvisation Workshop

This is a new venture for the Sale Festival 2011; a day of music

making for those with an interest in discovering or developing their

skills in jazz improvisation. The tutor for the day will be Mike Hall,

saxophonist and Head of Jazz Studies at the Royal Northern College

of Music.

An Evening of Voices and Brass 
with The Alma Singers & Sale Brass Band.

Our evening’s joint venture is a concert of song and brass; combining the talents of the Alma Singers and Sale Brass Band.

Our performance tonight will prove to be of varied musical content with a selection of popular film music classics and marches along with old favourites from Gershwin and songs from the shows.
